We want to express our solidarity and welcome to the family, friends, and fellow members of the indigenous movement of the Elídio Tsorone, the leadership of the Xavante, that left us on the night of this Saturday’s (03.05). 

The son of Damian’s Pardzané, the chief of the general from the Land of the Indigenous Marãiwatsédé, and one of the main leaders of the region, and of the state Rewaptu, the first cacica woman in the history of the Xavante, Elídio inherited the leadership, and the pride of her parents.

It was the current coordinator of the regional unit of the National Foundation for Indigenous Peoples (Funai) in the city of Ribeirão Gravel (M), where it used to be a very important work about 6 thousand indigenous people are represented by the regional authorities.
