Since 1969, OPAN has been working to strengthen the role of indigenous peoples, valuing their cultures, organizations and ways of life.
OPAN's work is organized into three institutional programs: the Amazonas Program, the Mato Grosso Program and the Indigenous Rights, Indigenous Policy and Information to Society Program, which cuts across the other two.
OPAN’s collection of publications brings together documents, studies, research and institutional reports aimed at making its work more transparent.
