Mato Grosso Program
In Mato Grosso, OPAN works in the Juruena River basin with the Apiaká, Rikbaktsa, and Paresi peoples. In another region, in the eastern part of the state, the organization operates in the interfluvial zone between the Xingu and Araguaia rivers, working with the Xavante of Marãiwatsédé. Along the Middle Araguaia River, OPAN also collaborates with the Tapirapé, Kanela do Araguaia, Maxacali, and Krenak peoples. Learn more
